Kaiser Bakeware Company Information
In 1919, Wilhelm Ferdinand Kaiser began production of a small line of traditional European bakeware items bearing the family name. Situated in a picturesque German village, the Kaiser Backform (Bakeware) factory has continued to produce its ever-expanding line of bakeware for three generations and has come to be respected as Europe's largest manufacturer of quality bakeware for the home baker.
In 1984 Kaiser developed and introduced the revolutionary La Forme line of bakeware and accessories. Initially received with skepticism by the competition as being too high-end for the home baker, the La Forme line soon won consumer appreciation and is now considered "state-of-the-art" bakeware.
Today, well into our ninth decade of producing quality bakeware, Kaiser boasts two production facilities in Germany, from which we supply bakeware for over thirty countries worldwide.
We at Kaiser are committed to creating bakeware with you, the home baker, in mind. The tools, appliances, and ingredients available to the home baker are taken into careful consideration in designing each piece of Kaiser bakeware, so that the home baker can enjoy professional baking results from the home kitchen.

La Forme and La Forme Plus Bakeware
Each piece of La Forme bakeware is designed with the finest materials available to guarantee perfect performance. After extensive product research, Kaiser selected steel as the base material for the entire La Forme and La Forme Plus Collections. The steel base is coated with one of two nonstick surface systems, depending on the intended use of the piece. The La Forme Plus collection is made with the innovative KAIRAMIC® non-stick coating.
In an oven, where the temperature can fluctuate up to 50 degrees
in a normal baking cycle, the ideal baking vessel should retain
heat well enough to maintain an even temperature. Yet, it should
not retain heat so well that a cake, bread or cookie will burn
in the time required for complete baking. Kaiser chose heavy-gauge
steel as the base material for the La Forme and La Forme Plus collection, because
it conducts heat gently and evenly, and produces the perfect
balance necessary for a golden brown crumb or outside of the
cake, and a perfectly baked, moist interior. Cakes and breads
cook uniformly, and cookies baked on La Forme
cookie sheets brown evenly and maintain their shape.
La Forme's heavy-gauge steel eliminates warping in every piece of bakeware. Select La Forme and La Forme Plus pans are manufactured with the cut- and acid-resistant Magnum coating. This allows baked goods to be cut in the pan.
La Forme and La Forme Plus Features
- Magnum cut-resistant or nonstick interiors mean ease of use and easy cleanup.
- Heavy-gauge steel provides even and gentle heat distribution.
- The leakproof bottom eliminates messy spills.
- Superior springform buckle provides the perfect release of baked goods.
La Forme Use and Care
All Kaiser Bakeware pans are safe up to 450 degrees F in the oven.
For best results, brush a very thin layer of butter or oil on the interior of the pan prior to each use. The butter guarantees perfect release and helps promote a smooth, tightly sealed crust, even browning and good flavor. It isn't necessary to line the pan with expensive parchment paper, or to dust the pan with flour, which can produce an unattractive white crust on cakes and breads.
The La Forme and La Forme Plus pieces coated with the 2-layer Nonstick Surface System are designed to provide perfect release for baked goods that will be removed from the pan. Use of knives or sharp objects should be avoided, as they will damage the surface.
However, pieces coated with Magnum are designed to withstand cutting. Any utensils, including sharp knives, can be used in the pan without damaging the surface.
Clean La Forme bakeware with hot water, soap and a soft sponge or dishcloth. Avoid using abrasive cleansers. It is neither necessary nor recommended to put La Forme in the dishwasher.
Noblesse Bakeware
Each piece of Noblesse bakeware is designed with the finest materials available to guarantee perfect performance. After extensive research, Kaiser selected a steel base coated with two layers of nonstick coating for the Noblesse line. The exterior is painted black to absorb heat, providing even browning and shorter cooking times.

Yet, it should not retain heat so well that burning occurs in the time required to completely bake a cake, bread or cookie. Steel was selected as the base material for the Noblesse line because it conducts heat gently and evenly, to produces the perfect balance between browning and cooking. Cakes and breads baked in Noblesse bakeware cook uniformly with evenly browned crusts, and cookies baked on Noblesse cookie sheets brown evenly and maintain their shape.
The steel used in Noblesse eliminates warping in every piece of bakeware, and the superior nonstick coating helps baked goods turn out easily for beautiful presentation and simple cleanup.

There is no need to dust the pan with flour, which can create an unattractive white crust on cakes and breads.
The pan's heavy-gauge steel and dark color ensure that baked goods brown evenly and generally finish baking in about 10% less time than listed on your recipe.
